  Relaxing and gorgeous surroundings.

  The pool area and surrounding grounds were beautiful, with plenty of activities to enjoy while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The room was fairly standard but comfortable. The restaurants offered good-quality food, although prices were quite high, and vegetarian and vegan options were limited. More plant-based choices would certainly enhance the dining experience. The highlight of our stay was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making our visit especially enjoyable. Overall, a lovely resort with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere, although the dining options and pricing could be improved.

  Food at the Cafe and Restaurant was expensive. The service at the restaurant was excellent. good overall breakfast options but Limited options for vegan/vegetarian. My family enjoyed the short ribs, steak which was excellent.

  Nice resort, but not worth the price once all the fees were added.

  The location was great. It was close to everything, which made it easy to get around for my friend's birthday. Breakfast at the Lakehouse was okay. The staff was the BEST part of this hotel. The bellhops were incredibly helpful, and the gentleman greeting guests out front was so jolly and cheery, which made us feel welcome right away.

  The final bill was a lot higher than the price on Booking.com. With the $50/night resort fee, parking for two cars, and the pet fee, we paid hundreds more than we expected. All those extra charges should be much clearer before you book. Also, the parrot by check-in was very loud and kind of startling when we walked in.

  Disappointing billing experience – multiple unexplained charges

  Clean hotel, clean room.

  We stayed at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress on October 16–17, 2026, having already paid USD 459 in advance through Booking.com for two rooms. Despite this, the hotel charged my credit card several additional amounts: USD 113.76 and USD 56.25 on October 16, followed by USD 82.43 and USD 500 on October 17. These additional transactions total USD 752.44. What makes this particularly frustrating is the lack of a clear explanation or timely resolution. I contacted the hotel to dispute the charges and received an automated acknowledgement, but no substantive response or satisfactory resolution so far. I understand that hotels may require security deposits or incidental authorizations. However, guests should receive clear explanations of all additional charges, particularly when accommodation has already been prepaid. For a hotel in this price category, I expected much better communication and transparency. An extremely disappointing experience, especially regarding billing and customer service.
