    the location was very easy access to shop

    the access to shopping centre was very close, there was plenty of choice of food for the free continental breakfast, bed was very comfortable.

    the room was very compact with not much room to move around in.

    Perfect for our purpose. We will come again as we have numbers of times before.

    Location was perfect for our weekend plan we walked to many of the diners and social events we had planned. Wonderful to see the advance in maintenance that is going on with this wonderful old hotel.

    Breakfast was adequate but not a stand out of our visit. May be the option for a paid breakfast of higher quality would have been good to have. The kitchenette in the room could be more replete with cups plates cutlery and water in the fridge. Our fridge looking very sparse with just one 200ml carton of milk in it. I noticed last year in Japanese hotels that there is often a self service bar in the foyer where visitors help themselves to what they need including soap razors toothpaste even hand towels tea bags and packs of crackers and biscuits. This improves the quality of the hotel stay, significantly reduces waste and eliminates the job of replenishing each room after a visit.
