    Passable

The location is good, it is close to the historical center. The internet is very good. Two bathrooms are modern.

Unfortunately, the apartment is very humid, especially the rooms on the ground floor. A large number of flies (psychoda cinerea) are found on all walls, especially in bathrooms. The apartment is very dark because it has no real windows, so you have to keep the electric lighting on all the time. The rooms on the first floor are accessed by very narrow circular metal stairs. The ceiling on the first floor is very low.

Great stay with a pretty view in Catania at Ana’s place.

The apartment was big with two places to hang clothes, drawers for clothes, dining table and couch. The bed was very comfortable also. There was a shared kitchen with a refrigerator, plenty of coffee and tea in the bedroom. Enough cookware to make your own meals if you wanted to. The washing machine was easy to use. Ana was a fabulous host.

Internet was a little spotty at times but we never mentioned it to our host so it wasn’t her fault.
