    Two nights, not more!

    It is well placed for public transport. Good if you are on a budget, too. Breakfast is nice, the room is clean. Personnel is friendly but don't expect too much. The SPA is only in the afternoons, but expect even less.

    Totally unacceptable breakfast policies

    It's a typical Ibis Hotel. Nothing special about it. But the real scandal is the breakfast. It's the first hotel of an international chain I stayed where breakfast during weekend is served from 8:00 am only. How lazy is staff or management in that hotel? They don't want to wake up early in the morning? At 8:00 am there was a queue of people (see my pic) across the lobby waiting. I checked, people waited more than 30 minutes just to get inside the breakfast area. This is rude and just the opposite of hospitality. This is totally unacceptable and definitely also not conform to Accor standards. Furthermore, it's a scandal because on their website there isn't any information about breakfast being served from 8 am only during weekends. For sure, people paid for breakfast but didn't have breakfast in the end because they had other plans than waiting until 8:00 am in the morning and then waiting another 30 minutes in a queue for getting inside the breakfast area. Unbelievable.

    There isn’t much directly around the hotel, but there is a restaurant on site, and the old town with lots of dining options is just a 5-10 minute walk away. The bed was relatively firm, but still comfortable

    We enjoyed the stay and the breakfast. However, there was a dog barking after midnight and some noisy trains. The hotel is new and clean, centrally located. We’ll book again next time.
