Beautiful surroundings, but disappointing room comfort and service for the price.

The view from our room was beautiful, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant was decent as well. Most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Free parking was a plus, especially since we had a rental car. There's also a Coop grocery store within walking distance, which is convenient.

Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing, especially considering the price. - Uncomfortable bed: The bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. - Cold room: The room was cold, and we weren't able to adjust the temperature ourselves. When we asked the staff to increase it, they told us it could take long time (later on they said up to 24 hours for the temperature to change), which wasn't a practical solution for a short stay. They did offer a portable heater, which I appreciated, but I wish they had informed us about this issue and the availability of heaters ahead of time. After returning from our Northern Lights tour at 2–3 AM, the last thing we wanted to do was walk all the way to reception to request a heater. We ended up having to sleep in an uncomfortably cold room. Better communication and a more proactive approach would have made a big difference. - Lack of information at check-in: The staff didn't explain basic details such as breakfast hours, what was included in our stay, or how to access the sauna and other facilities. - No phone in the room: Every time we had a question or issue, we had to physically walk to the reception desk, which was inconvenient or message via booking.com which may take a few hours for response. - Cleanliness concerns: There was a partially opened tea bag left in our room, and the shower stall had an unpleasant odor. - Inaccessible digital guidebook: ICEHOTEL sent a guidebook through Booking.com messages, but I wasn't able to open it. Since we weren't given much information at check-in either, it was difficult to know what amenities and services were available. Overall, the location and surroundings were lovely, but the room's comfort, cleanliness, and lack of communication were disappointing. For the price we paid, I expected a much more comfortable and well-organized experience.

    Pikemaks perepuhkuseks hea koht!

    Terrible experience. Ran away!

My wife and I were truly disappointed with the hotel. We have reserved the ice/frozen bedroom to spend our wedding anniversary. However, when arriving at hotel, they said that it was allowed to enter in the room only after 6PM and leave max by 8:30AM. Who wake up so early in a place with notherlights?! To solve it, they sent us to a cheap and terrible warm room, saying that it was the same price of the frozen o e - not at all. They didn’t inform ANY of those things at booking. Terrible experience and do not recommend this cheap place at all!

El bar de hilo, la cabaña donde nos alojamos, la ubicación pegada al río y el desayuno en el restaurante y la propia comida del restaurante para comer o cenar
