Originally, we stayed here with the intention of viewing autumn leaves and hiking, but all our plans fell through due to the weather and physical exhaustion. We only stayed one night before deciding to check out early. The front desk and restaurant staffs were excellent—thank you for taking care of us.

What a fun, quirky, and completely unique place. The kind of place that mixes an old-school Japan vibe with the wildest robot you will ever meet. The staff was laid-back and yet completely attentive. They took care of my mother's food allergies with such diligence and attentiveness. The surrounding area also contains so much beauty. If you're up for a true wabi-sabi experience--this is the place for you.

Of course there have been ongoing issues with the bath--but this issue is impacting the entire area. They offered us a private bath instead, which was greatly appreciated.
