Not pleasant stay - It wasn't worth the money.
Liked the location
There was Big Hairy Black Spider found in bedroom so vacant property immediate day before check out. Typical smell like very old bed mattress or bed sheet. Oven was not working. Heating was off. Had to request owner and they were controlling heating from their property.

Wundervoller Ort um in der Natur Urlaub zu machen.
Tolle Lage mitten im Nirgendwo. Komfortable Einrichtung. Guter Ausgangspunkt für längere und kürzere Wanderungen. Hundefreundlich. Parken direkt vor dem Haus. Landstraße einige hundert Meter entfernt. Nächster Pub (Warren House) über einen tollen Wanderweg durchs Moor in ca. 35min erreichbar.
Internet sehr holprig. Fernsehen nicht möglich (falls das jemandem wichtig ist). Lattenrost im Doppelbett war sehr durchgelegen.

An excellent base, but be prepared to eat evening meal at home or drive.
Quiet, idyllic isolation. However, Dartmoor paths etc are not well marked & maintained, so easy to cross onto wrong trails.
