Diabolical stay, Booking.com should not be having this place on their sites!
Beautiful location alongside the river
They’ve dated badly, they have not maintained anything on the property. They booked us a room where all the rubbish was dumped and was invested with flies, no view of the river, instead we looked at a broken down pool slide and wall! The geyser was not on, none of the appliances worked and only a quarter of lights worked. We even found cat hair on the bed. We drove down to the reception and after asking twice, they put on the mains, which was outside but no light to see it. The bathroom light was still off, so we had to get them to change bulb and then it only worked for a few minutes, so we had to shower in lukewarm water and the dark! Not on!

Except for the beautiful river, not what we expected.
The property is located next to the river. We did not get the room we booked and the staff was very accommodating in offering us another room. Only problem was that, that room was not self catering and the roof leaked. We were suppose to stay 2 nights but left the next day.
We booked a deluxe room and did not get the room as shown on the pictures. This room was also farthest on a steep hill and far away from the river and amenities. The braai was also not under cover which was inconvenient as it was raining.

Excellent location. Beautiful and comfortable rooms.
Did not like that they did not serve food on a Sunday we arrived late in the afternoon it would have been nice if we could atleast ordered a toasted sandwich. Everything was nice and clean the one thing was the towels we hard from reusing. It might be time for new ones or a little bit more fabric softener. But its no big deal the important thing was that it was nice and clean. The kitchen area in our room nr 7 can do with more light.
