A hidden Gem!
We loved our stay here! The owners of the villa are so kind and lovely! Breakfast brought to us each day at a time of our choosing and if we were in the villa in the afternoon we enjoyed iced coffees and fresh juices. The villa was cleaned each day and fresh towels brought to us. The villa is basically a secure annex of the owners property but we never felt that we did not have our privacy. The owner has two sweet dogs- river and jimmy who were always ready to greet you. Location wise due to Ubuds crazy traffic it could take between 15-25 mins to get into the centre depending where you needed to be. We never had a problem with grab the longest we waited was around 5mins. The villa is off the beaten path but really private overlooking the rice fields. WiFi was great and we actually enjoyed not having a TV. The outdoor shower was a treat, as the villa is mostly outdoor/indoor you do get some bugs but it never bothered us and the villa has bug spray available. There is also a washing machine available which was really handy.
The villa would benefit from a little TLC as in areas was looking a little run down.

Ruined the second half of our honeymoon
The pool was alright
Not worth the asked price at all. It is not a private villa, the owner lives just behind the wall, and you can all hear each other all the time. The room is not fully lockable, so welcome anyone, people or bugs. The villa is old, dated, faded and many things are broken or not working well. There is no switch to control the lights outside in the yard, so prepare that phone flashlight to get in and out of the premises. There are no curtains on half of the windows too - enjoy waking up with the first crack of dawn on your vacation. The water in the shower is either boiling hot or cold, nothing in between. The shower and toilet themselves are nasty. And all of this for the price of a 5-star hotel room on a shore line. The owner is a nice person, but that didn't stop him from overcharging for this villa without making it be worthy that price. Instead, he is building another villa right next door, so enjoy the knocking in the morning btw too. We had a total bad time staying in that place on our honeymoon, and no money can buy that back. Outrageous.

Proprietario gentilissimo e molto amorevole. Ho chiesto il cappuccino e me lo ha subito portato. Piscina sempre pulita.
Bellissima villa con piscina privata. Bagno con doppio lavandino doccia e vasca oltre che lavatrice e ferro. Colazione perfetta.
Tutto perfetto. Unico consiglio: lasciare le luci della piscina accese tutta notte.
