    Location good but 20 min walk to station, old style Japanese house.

    It is a very typical but old city house in Tokyo. The location near Ikebukuro is convenient. It has a lot of rooms, a big kitchen/dining area and two bathrooms. Everything was very clean. Communication with the owner was without problems.

    It is a 20 min walk to Ikebukuro station. The house is old, so in February it was really cold. Habe Bath downstairs is old. There wasn’t a lot of cutlery and we couldn’t find chopsticks at all…

    A very enjoyable stay

    The location of the house was quite hard to find. The roads around it were inaccessible to the taxi.

    For foreign tourists with no Japanese skills, it would be good to arrange a meeting place on arrival. We were just very fortunate that a local man helped us out.
