  Super Unterkunft bei fantastischen Menschen

  Sehr ruhig gelegen, perfekt für Ausflüge rund um Erice und Trapani. Parkplatz direkt in der Nähe die Straße runter und kostenlos. Man ist bei der Familie im Haus untergebracht aber niemand drängt sich auf, es fühlt sich sehr privat an. Die Gastgeberin ist fantastisch, freundlich, und hat die besten Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

  During our trip to Sicily, we stayed at this property in the Junior Suite with Sea View. Veronica welcomed us very warmly and accommodated our late check-in, which we appreciated. Upon arrival, she provided us with plenty of tips for trips and interesting places in the area – something that can be especially useful for spontaneous travelers. We had our itinerary planned in advance, but we still saw her initiative as a positive. We also appreciated that she lent us a sun umbrella. The room was clean, cozy, and located in a quiet area – suitable as a base for trips. Parking is public, about 50 meters from the house by the road, but during our stay we always found a free spot. Veronica lives in the same property, in a separate part of the house. The entrance to the suite goes through her space, but during our stay we did not encounter her there, so we had peace and privacy.

  Despite the good first impression, we came across several differences between what was stated in the accommodation description and reality. The coffee maker/kettle that was supposed to be part of the suite was not there at all. Teas were displayed, but it was impossible to prepare them since the room only had a small stove and no container to heat water. There was not a single glass in the room, so we had to make do with plastic cups from the terrace. On the second day, we politely asked for two plates, a coffee spoon, and a wine opener, but this was refused with the explanation that it was not allowed to consume food on the terrace or bring food into the house. The host explained that due to pandemic regulations, they could not provide plates, cups, or other equipment. We also considered the terrace restrictions to be unfortunate. In the listing, it appears as part of the suite, but in reality, it is a shared space where consuming your own food is prohibited. The grill shown in the photos is also not available for guests to use. The host referred to municipal and pandemic regulations for these restrictions, but these were not mentioned in the listing and were something we did not encounter elsewhere in Sicily. Summary: The accommodation is clean, quiet, and suitable for overnight stays. However, if you expect to be able to use the facilities listed in the description (e.g., prepare coffee, eat food on the terrace, or use the grill), it is worth keeping in mind the restrictions, which are not clearly communicated in advance.

  Soggiorno in tranquillità

  Struttura con un ampio balcone con vista mare, camera accessoriata con tutto e molto graziosa.

  Purtroppo la porta non si chiude da dentro o almeno noi non siamo riusciti a chiuderla.
