A beautiful place, good as a camp base for one-day excursions to nearby places. Lovely owners!
Absolutely a marvelous place ! Located on the outskirts of a small village, surrounded by a forest. A good base for one-day excursions to nearby villages and towns (Firenze is just one hour's drive away). The house is over two centuries old and most of the appartment has been left in, or restored to, the original state. It has a one bedroom with open kitchenette / dining place, plus a nice bathroom. The old-style bed was comfortable. There was a wardrobe to accommodate our clothes. A nice patio allowed us to enjoy morning coffee or evening snack outside. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a bottle of wine and local sweets. Additionally, every day the host brought us small treats: fruits, bisquits and local snacks. Drinking water was replenished dailly. In the description of the appartment, the owners provided tips and directions to places of interest which are not far away. We've visited all of them and we found them all worth visiting. Thank you!
The driveway, which connects the house to the main road is in a poor condition, so if you have a low-suspension car, be careful. Make sure to bring mosquito reppellent and an ointment for the bites. Although the owners have provided a burning incest and candles, it is always good to have some back-up, too.

Beautiful, quiet place and wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this place
It is situated in a beautiful area, surrounded by woods. The room was lovely and comfortable. The hosts are super nice, kind, and friendly. They made sure you felt comfortable and even brought us treats every day (delicious fruit, cookies, cheese and prosciutto). I will go back for sure!

Ruhiges Kleinod im Wald
Sehr schöne, stilvoll eingerichtete Unterkunft ruhig gelegen im Wald, aber trotzdem leicht erreichbar. Wir haben bedauert, erst spät abends am Haus angekommen zu sein. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut über den Obstkorb und den Wein zur Begrüßung und die vielen kleinen anderen Aufmerksamkeiten. Mille grazie!
