The apartament is positioned in the heart of the old city centre, only a stone-throw away from the dome. It has all you need to get connected to the city vibe and even with the medieval atmosphere. Large windows, well equipped kitchen, a lot of tv programmes, and even IP-Tv, high-speed internet.

As we arrived in July, the weather was very hot, and the lack of AC was thoroughly felt. On the other hand, there was a very strong smell of mould due to excessive humidity. The temperature inside never went below 29°C, and humidity could rise up to 70%. Even though there was an appliance for dehumidification, there were no instructions on how to use it. By the last couple of days, we figured out that it wasn't working because the tank was full of water. That is why three fans had to bear the burden of making the atmosphere breatheble.

Beautiful place, incredible location, bad air flow

The location was amazing! We could walk to either the Duomo or the Piazza il Campo in less than two minutes. The windows opened onto a quiet garden courtyard. The kitchen was nice and the hosts were kind. It was wonderful to have two bathrooms with showers.

The main thing we disliked was the smell of mold and mildew. When we ran the clothes dryer, it seemed to make it worse. Whenever we were inside, we opened windows and ran fans to clear the air.

Interesting property in the centre of Siena

A hidden gem in the heart of Siena old town, walking distance to many restaurants and local shops, surprisingly quiet, we loved it

You have to walk a little to get to it, but worth it
