  Good location, but needs a lot more thought about how someone is actually going to live in the space

  We were attending a concert at a little castle keep just outside Lisse; so the location of the accommodation was carefully chosen with that in mind - we needed to be able to walk or cycle to the venue. The bed was enormous! We could have got several other people in there as well, had we been so minded :P The towel rail was excellent and kept our towels very dry. The shower was good. There was a toaster and a kettle - always a requirement for us. We were pleased with the amount of coffee pods provided for the coffee machine, and the tea-bag selection. Lisse itself has a lot of supermarkets and cafes, and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

  The insecurity of not knowing where we were going to park our car before we arrived. We were told we could park 'around the back' of the restaurant, and there was a car-park, but it was always full. The host was very impatient with us when we asked again where we could park, and said we could park 'anywhere'. There was quite a lot of housing out the back and we didn't know if houses had dedicated parking spaces, there was nothing on any sign post to help us. Eventually we asked someone else who was parking in another car-park further down, and he said all parking was free. The flat wasn't well designed with a lot of wasted space. The toilet room was so small that when sitting on the toilet, my knees touched the wall in front of me. The 'bathroom' sink was right next to the 'kitchen' sink in the main part of the flat. Every surface was covered with Autumn themed ornaments, leaving very little to no space for our own things. We had to collect up all the ornaments and put them on top of a cupboard so we could unpack our own things. The kitchenette was minimal, with a free-standing single electric 'smart' hob being the only cooking appliance aside from a microwave. This took up all the space beside the kitchen sink, so there was nowhere to dry washing-up. A slide-out metal and plastic tray was provided (we assume) as a drainer for washed up crockery etc, and fitted across the sink once the sink had been cleared of washing-up. But juggling all that was very awkward. There was no food preparation space. There was another flat upstairs with some very noisy inhabitants - moving furniture, and walking around very heavily during the day, evening and night.

  Die Lage des Appartements in der Fußgängerzone war gut. kurze Wege in die City.

  Leider war das Besteck in der Küchenzeiile nicht komplett, wir vermissten ein zweites Frühstücksmesser.Eine der Kaffeetassen hat einen Sprung (Riss). Es liess sich leider nur ein Fenster öffnen...daher war das Zimmer nur schwer zu lüften. Die Toilette war sehr, sehr eng, nur ca. 1 m2. Meine Frau und ich konnten uns darin kaum bewegen. Eine Terasse wie auf dem Foto dargestellt ist so nicht vorhanden.

  Das Zimmer ist für zwei Personen auf einem Kurztrip komplett ausreichend. Sauber, sehr nette Vermieter, die schnell erreichbar sind und eine tolle Lage. Richtig kochen kann man hier nicht, aber abends schnell Nudeln mit Pesto gehen auf jeden Fall.

  Das Zimmer war leider immer ziemlich warm, es gibt nur ein kleines Fenster und nachts blieb es daher sehr warm. Sollte man beachten falls man dahingehend empfindlich ist. Die Austattung der Küche war okay, aber nicht überragend.
