Special Sassi Stay!
What a special place to stay. There were so many added items include included in our one night day. For example, the owner brought us on a long trip through all of the city. We stopped at various famous spots for glorious pictures, and we were given lots of insight. It was great for my Italian practice because he explained it all and then I would explain it to my friends in English. Excellent restaurant next-door, which was recommended for lunch. I would love to bring my family here soon!

We loved Matera - made all the more enjoyable by SAVIO
SAVIO was such a generous and friendly host and an excellent guide, driving us on wonderful tours of the caves, churches and the whole city. He couldn’t do enough for us. Excellent accommodation right in the sassi. He left so much food and drink for us to enjoy.

Quel séjour extraordinaire !!! Matera est d'une telle beauté et avoir Savio comme guide était la cerise sur le gâteau ! Il est venu nous chercher au parking, nous a fait garer notre voiture en lieu sur et nous a guidé dans la ville et aux alentours. Nous nous sommes sentis comme des VIP. Il adore sa ville, est extrêmement sympathique, disponible, drôle et généreux. Il ne parle qu'Italien mais avec la traduction sur téléphone, la langue n'est pas une barrière. Le logement est très bien situé, spacieux, bien équipé et Savio a pensé à plein d'attentions. Je n'ai jamais vu cela ailleurs. Encore un grand merci Savio :-)

We could not fault our stay. The location was amazing, everything was walking distance, views everywhere you look. Savio was incredible, he met us at a train station so we could follow him to park our car. He then drove us around town to give us a tour because it was raining. He booked our dinner at a beautiful restaurant. He has the home stocked with food, juices and wine, so incredibly thoughtful. 5 stars - would recommend to anyone. Modern comforts, great beds, two bathrooms, air circulation system 👌

Super Wohnung, an super Lage, mit einem super Host! Savio weiss so viel über Matera, kennt jeden Winkel und lebt dafür, seinen Gästen davon zu erzählen. Mit dieser Unterkunft mietet man sich zugleich einen Guide, fantastisch! Somit konnten wir aus unserem ein-nächtigen Besuch, das Beste rausholen. Gerne wieder
