    Pleasant family time in Sicignano. The house, simple, is on top of the village, so that we spent a lot of Time during the day inside the shadowy very quiet castle or in the evening enjoying the superb view and sunsets. Surrounding narrow streets below are charming really. August temperature, at night, was fresher than in Napoli. As we had a car, we organised visits around (Paestum, Rocky and sandy beaches, quiet fresh rivers…within half or 1 hour driving most of the time). The village has local shops, a few restaurants and terrasses, very lively. A great deal of pleasant events happening in Sicignano around mid-August!…scarce foreign tourists apart from people back to Italy for Summer time and family gatherings… Jean-Paulo, the owner, took time to organise for us the visit of his organic farm a few kilometers away, and introduced us to his welcoming team, full production process of bio honey, wine and fruits. We travelled back to France with a few kilos of delicious honey!

    Séjour magnifique dans un lieu authentique face à un château médiéval. Je recommande !

    Nous cherchions un hébergement authentique et c'est bien ce que nous avons trouvé. La maison est située face au magnifique château de Sicignano degli Alburni. Un lieu calme et reposant. Le propriétaire était très agréable et à l'écoute. Il sentiero se trouve dans un village charmant avec toutes les commodités.

    Pour améliorer le logement, nous aurions apprécié un four à micro-onde et une bouilloire, mais ce sont de petits détails sans grande importance.

    We loved it.

    The location near the Sicignano castle over looking the town was very picturesque and convenient.

    We could have used some amenities such as shampoo. Had to buy it in town. Not really a problem.
