  Great location, lovely room and warm hospitality

  I stayed at Il Veliero for one night in September and really enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent, in the heart of Anacapri, very close to Villa San Michele and the pedestrian shopping streets. The room was spacious and clean, with high ceilings and lovely Capri-inspired decorations. I liked the colourful bedding, artwork and thoughtful details. It was also well equipped, with a large TV, a refrigerator, a kettle and air conditioning. There was a small outdoor seating area just outside the room. Breakfast was very good, with a generous buffet selection of pastries, cakes, yoghurt, fruit, cold cuts and cheeses. Raffaele was friendly and welcoming. He kindly allowed me to leave my suitcase before check-in so I could spend the morning exploring the island. I also appreciated his attention at breakfast, and we had a lovely conversation in Italian when I visited the souvenir shop. Overall, a pleasant stay with a great location, a comfortable room and a warm welcome. Thank you, Raffaele!

  The bathroom was the main area that could be improved. It was clean and everything worked, but it felt a little dated. The shower cubicle was rather small, the lighting was dim, and some fittings showed signs of wear. Finding the entrance was also confusing. I messaged in advance to ask which entrance to use, since the address appeared to lead to a souvenir shop, but I didn't receive a reply before arriving. I eventually found the gate myself. Once there, everything went smoothly. The room had no separate window; its natural light came through the glazed entrance door, so closing the curtains for privacy reduced the daylight. Also, the property is on a pedestrian street, so you need to walk a few minutes with your luggage from the nearest road accessible by car. These were fairly minor inconveniences overall, but worth knowing in advance.

  Ze wzgledu na padajce deszcze i wilgoc przydaloby sie w takich okolicznosciach jakis grzejnik w lazience. Na reczniki ale gospodarz dostarczal swieze w to miejsce. Nie bylo Drzwi do toalety i maly dyskomfort bo musialam zaslaniac okna zeby przypadkiem nie machac np do gosci przechodzacych do aparyamentu obok :)
