    Short, pleasant stay in Isernia at a great location with a very kind host.

    Wonderful location, in the Centro Storico. Easy parking. The host was very enthusiastic and proud of his recently-renovated property, and rightly so. Attention to every detail, very clean, and very generously-stocked with breakfast choices. Just a few steps to restaurants and the historic piazza. Its a great stay if you are stopping in Isernia.

    There were only two things I didn’t really like. My mattress wasn’t very comfortable, and the narrow street was quite noisy at times, including midnight fireworks and morning deliveries. I am used to these aspects of the centri storici italiani, but others might be surprised. No cars doesn’t necessarily mean quiet! If you don’t like stairs or have a disability, this place isn’t for you. We enjoyed it however, and those things aside, I recommend it.
