    An exceptionally clean, welcoming family hotel with great children’s facilities and a peaceful location close to the bea

    The location was ideal: a short walk to the beach and restaurants, yet peaceful in the evenings. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and cleanliness was exceptional throughout. From early-morning pool cleaning to the communal toilets in the evening, everything was consistently maintained to a high standard, including our room. The pools offered something for children of different ages. We particularly appreciated the lifeguard at the slides and splash pool, and the screens closing off the pools outside opening hours. The children also loved the play and football areas. We stayed half board. Breakfast offered excellent choice and variety, and the one dinner we attended had plenty of options, including a children’s station. We also enjoyed two poolside lunches, cocktails and beer. Our room had a lovely balcony, useful wardrobe and fridge space, and a good-sized bathroom with a nice shower. Indoor communal areas were comfortable and well presented, with live sport on TV. A particularly thoughtful touch was the complimentary bottle of bubbly and note from the manager for my birthday, without us mentioning the occasion. Paid late checkout was also very helpful. We didn’t attend the evening entertainment, so cannot comment on that.

    The bedroom felt compact for two adults and two children. It was manageable for our three-night stay, but could feel a little cramped over a longer holiday, particularly two weeks.
