  Health hazard apartment. Should be removed from Booking

  Nothing. See below.

  We spent one night at this property on a hot night in August. The property was advertised as having air conditioning and able to sleep 4. This was not the case. The aircon was leaking water in large amounts near electric plug sockets and was a serious health hazard. When I contacted the host, the person claimed that someone had come to fix the aircon only yesterday and this problem was resolved. This was clearly not the case. Furthermore, the fact that shelves beneath the aircon unit all showed signs of long-term water damage was evidence that this was an ongoing problem which the host had failed to resolve over a long period. The host advised us to keep the aircon on but just put down towels to catch the water. But given amount of water pouring out near electrical sockets we could not risk this. We had to switch it off. Additionally, the sofa bed was not made up, despite our booking being for 4 people. When I asked the host where the additional sheets were, the host directed us to look in the cupboard beneath the aircon. The sheets were of course damp from the leaking aircon. When we tried to pull the curtains shut, the curtain rod fell down on my daughter's head causing a bruise. The host again denied any knowledge of the faulty curtain pole. In summary, we could not use the beds, the apartment was boiling hot and we did not sleep that night. The worst night in any accommodation I can remember. Then to cap it all, we were not offered the option to leave a review and we had to ask Booking especially for this. We strongly advise all travelers to avoid this place.

  Wir haben hier auf der Durchreise nur eine Nacht übernachtet und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Apartment war sauber und überraschend gut ausgestattet. Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Von Waschmittel über Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett bis hin zu einem Fressnapf und Leckerlis für Katzen, an viele kleine Details wurde gedacht. Das hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Die Anreise war allerdings etwas schwierig. Da sich das Apartment mitten im Stadtzentrum befindet, muss man mit dem Auto durch eine grosse Holztüre in einen Innenhof fahren. Die Einfahrt ist sehr eng und wir konnten nur rückwärts reinfahren, da es noch zwei andere Autos im Innenhof parkiert hatten und wir nicht wenden konnten zum wieder rausfahren. Wir mussten sehr auf die Felgen und Autospiegel achten, weil wir sehr knapp an den Wänden vorbeikamen. Die Einfahrt ist ein Nervenkitzel und von aussen wirkt alles etwas verwirrend, weil man das Haus selbst von aussen nicht sieht, sondern nur Geschäfte und Hochhäuser. Zum Glück konnten wir den Gastgeber über die Telefonnummer von Booking erreichen und er hat uns sofort weitergeholfen. Der Check in verlief kontaktlos über einen Schlüsselsafe mit Code und hat problemlos funktioniert. Einziger Minuspunkt war die Klimaanlage. Wir waren am 31.07.2026 dort, als es extrem heiss war. Die Klimaanlage kühlte leider nur einen Teil des Apartments, weshalb es besonders im Schlafbereich unter dem Dach sehr warm blieb. Selbst mit offenen Fenstern kam keine frische Luft herein, da das Apartment im Innenhof liegt und rundherum von hohen Gebäuden umgeben ist. Wir mussten uns sogar kalt abduschen, um etwas Abkühlung zu bekommen, und haben die ganze Nacht ohne Decke geschlafen. Abgesehen von der Klimaanlage können wir das Apartment aber definitiv weiterempfehlen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt oder eine Übernachtung auf der Durchreise ist es eine gute Wahl.
