A gorgeous location but in need of an update and refresh.
This is the second time I have stayed at this apartment with my elderly mother. We rebooked because the location is insane - Plaza de las Flores is the nicest little plaza with half a dozen restaurants and the balcony of the apartment looks over the plaza - hard to beat! The bedrooms are located at the back/internal so are very very quiet even when the plaza is in full swing! The layout is perfect and is light and bright and lots of space. There are utensils/mugs/cups etc some cooking equipment but nothing fancy. There was a problem with the intercom/coded entry and the host responded immediately. I would prefer a key for the outside entrance rather than messing around with a phone at night etc but I should've asked and I could have had one - just didn't think to ask. There was no way my mum could've figured it out without me - ages and stages I guess but perhaps a key could be offered.
Super sadly there were a couple of issues with our stay, which are easily resolvable. The condition of the main bathroom/shower (not the ensuite shower which is on the small side so we shared the main bathroom) is not as it is in the pictures - I didn't think to take photos as we were really trying to enjoy our stay. But there are areas of black mould and repairs that have happened but to be honest it all needs sorting out, as it wasn't a cheap place to stay. The towels were awful, super thin/marked and grubby looking - they were cleaned but so old they just need replacing. I went out to buy extra pillows as the ones there were very weird. Again, not something I would have expected to have to do. It's very hard because we love love love the location and the apartment/facilities could be amazing but sadly it just felt a little old and sad and we won't be returning again which is a real shame.

Dejlig stor lejlighed med perfekt beliggenhed midt i den gamle bydel. En skøn altan God aircon
Rengøring var ikke tip top Da vi kom var der 1 eneste vinglas. Noget jeg kan se er nævnt før fra andre, men der ikke var rettet op på. Jeg klagede imens vi var der og fik nogle glas leveret. Pletter på håndklæderne Stadig ikke et lille bord på altanen, selvom det også er nævnt fra andre. Utrolig svært at finde lejligheden fordi I på jeres hjemmeside har skrevet nummer 4, men den reelt ligger i nummer 1 på 4. etage. Det måtte jeg diskutere med en ansat, og sende foto fra Booking før de hjalp mig.
