We love coming amish; we come up about 3x per year.
Breakfast was ok. I had the donuts 2 days; they were dry and seemed stale. not like those we had at Carlisle - the staff was nice and helpful. We left our bag of dirty clothes and your staff sent an email to let me know; I appreciated that so much.
When we arrived at the front desk the woman was checking her phone for a full 5 minutes - never acknowledged we were there until she was done playing on her phone; I felt she was rude and that is not acceptable. The afternoon person was much kinder as was the evening person; both smiled, acknowledged our presence and made us feel welcome. The cookies were a nice touch. The room smelled musty; even tho we checked full cleaning each day; the staff did not vacuum, left an empty tissue box; no coffee replacements. the sink was cracked and nasty looking in the primary bath (making it almost impossible to brush my teeth) and I could not make myself get into the shower; it was just old looking and did not look clean.

From entering the facility it was almost magical. The atmosphere and personality of stay could not have been better.
The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful property.

Enjoyed my stay.
Loved the deco. The flower garden was nice. Bed was comfortable. Nice breakfast.
