Good location, very welcoming, outstanding breakfast!
Parking was next to the house, in their grounds and easy to access. The house is only 2 mins drive from anywhere in the village, so great location. The free wifi worked well. Telephone reception was fine. Very varied breakfast menu, from attractively presented fresh fruit, yoghurt and juices, to toast, eggs any way you want, eggs Benedict, full english, mackerel...and more - catering to all appetites and requirements. The ensuite room was very nice and shower water pressure good. In the evening we ate really well and reasonably at The Miner's Arms, a pub/hotel at the other end of the village.
A small comment on what was otherwise a great experience - there was a lot of hanging space, but the rest of the surfaces were taken up with the (excellent) TV, coffee etc. Although there is a fold-out suitcase support thing, as there were 2 of us, we put 1 bag on the dressing table, 1 on the chair for the stay.
