    Spacious, clean, comfortable, convenient—and a full kitchen!

    This spacious, clean, comfortable apartment is in the Mittelzell ("middle section") of the island, which is the busiest part, but its location makes for great convenience. The apartment overlooks the island's only large grocery store, and while the trucks in the early morning may be a bit noisy, it's very handy (and budget-friendly) when you need to walk only a few footsteps from the front door to buy everything you need to cook meals in the apartment's full kitchen. (Look for the "Aus der Region" tag on the shelves at the grocery store for local meat, produce, and the wonderful Maultaschen dumplings.) The apartment is also very close to the "Tellerhof" bus stop, right in front of the garden center, so getting around the island to visit the historic churches or traveling back to Konstanz by bus and train are both very easy; bus and train travel is also free with the Bodensee West tourist card included in your stay. The hosts are very kind and genuinely care about their guests' comfort and well being. The history and nature of Reichenau are profound and important, but the location of this apartment also allows you to see the real and immediate modern life of the island, where people go about their everyday business, especially the hard work of farming. Whether you're focusing on Reichenau or eager to see the wider Bodensee region, the Inselappartment is an excellent home base for your travels, and I'll gladly stay there again.

    Nur das Bett war so weit ok

    Alles alt und heruntergekommen. Die Wohnung hat gestunken, die Handtücher auch. Die zwei Fenster bett sind die lamellenrollos kaputt und samt Fenster total verdreckt. Liegt gegenüber vom nahkauf, den ganzen Tag Türen geschlage und jeden Morgen kurz vor 6 Uhr kommt der LKW mit der Lieferung, da stehst senkrecht im Bett!
