  Conveniently located moderate cost hotel with friendly staff

  Convenient location in Pudong right next to Metro station. Clean and well equipped rooms (including a scale). Friendly and helpful staff. Late check out on departure day agreed on without circumstance. Upon my request a second (winter) blanket was brought, for reason see below

  Limited English knowledge of staff, which I found surprising for Shanghai. Huge TV screen turning on automatically when entering the room, takes a minute or so wait until you can switch off. Why bother guests with this. Minimum volume fan of the climatization still creates extremely chilling wind directly on the bed, which is why I asked for a winter blanket while temperatures outside were 24-30 degrees. Do engineers of these doomsday climatization machines ever listen, let alone learn?? People can get pneumonia from this nonsense !!!! Fish for options to minimize the fan volumes. Not the fault of the hotel, to be sure.

  Отличный завтрак. Просто порадовало, в отличие от предыдущего отеля проживания, где была только китайская еда. Пара хороших торговых центров и Шанхайская башня в пешей доступности. Отличное расположение.

  Pretty good experience staying with intercity hotel.

  The breakfast was fine at a reasonable price. It looked clean and healthy.

  Firstly, I've gotten too many emails confirming my arrival time. I answered, but the confirmation email kept coming up. You know, a passenger himself can't control it most of the time because of transportation issues, and this is the first time I've been bothered by such a question. Secondly, the elevator, specifically for the Intercity hotel, operated unexpectedly slowly, and you need to wait for it with patience. Of course, I was enjoying a courtesy lift with another elevator by a waiter.
