    Great place to stay in a lovely town.

    Nice place to stay in Kanazawa. We were very close to where the festival parade went through.

    We were a little far from the castle where we spent a good amount of time, but that was a relatively minor concern.

    A great place to stay with a couple of caveats that may effect some people's experience.

    Great location a walkable distance to everything you want to see in Kanazawa. Very clean and comfortable space with everything to make it feel like home. Great amenities for children if you happen to have any with your group.

    The stairs are quite steep and narrow, a bit scary to navigate when carrying luggage. I banged up the back of my feet a bit on them. Some confusing messaging on the listing where it says "The property is adults-only, providing a tranquil environment.", but the property has many toys, a baby gate, and pictures of children in the property. The guest welcome packae makes it clear that children are welcome in the property. While it was stated in the listing that quiet hours are from 16:00 to 23:00, the extent of this was not made quite clear enough. There is a restaurant below the bedroom and the guest info provided on check-in makes it clear that any significant movements [ahem] in the bedroom are heard by all in the restaurant, and they tend to complain to frequently that a cell phone has been placed in the bedroom that the owner uses to call you if they receive a complaint.
