    Underwhelming

Location - amazing Beds were comfortable Make sure you read all comments good and bad for a balanced opinion

We think you have been severely let down by your cleaning company and in turn so have we. Initially on arrival (after fighting with the key lock) the smell hit as soon as we opened the door, we looked around and under the stairs amongst boxes and random items stuffed under there we found an old crabbing bucket. In regards to the starter supply of items, we received milk which was much appreciated, but otherwise the only things we saw in the cottage were random half used items left over from previous customers. The freezer was totally frosted up with previous guests food still in there. We moved to bin to create more space and there was dried food all around the floor. The chopping block with missing knife sat on the side covered in months worth of dust, as was the fruit bowl. The shelves and on top of fridge had lots of random items from previous guests, I was honestly so surprised. Just really scruffy and not prepared for new guests at all. Main room the bedside lamp had the bulb missing. The fire extinguisher is under-pressurised at the top of the stairs. The clock in the lounge is broke. The chairs in the front room were so uncomfortable. If I could have left on arrival we would have done, however at this point everything locally was fully booked and being over 300 miles away from home - we made the best of it. I think more upto date photos reflecting the reality would manage expectations and a change of cleaning company.
