  We really wanted to like this place and did but it was a stretch to call it luxury with the associated price tag.

  Clean. New building. Great bed. Nice pool but it was too cold to use. Not anyone’s fault. Very spacious. Good location for walking to town. Very convenient.

  There was an apparent mix up about our arrival time. Directions said twice “self check in and we will send you a code right before check in time.” We never got the code so we thought they weren’t ready for us . We arrived half an hour after the scheduled check in time and the host seemed angry and basically said here it is and goodbye. Lots of little things : no house keeping for a five day stay. Had to ask for trash bags for the used toilet paper and clean towels on day three. Broken kettle and wine opener. Tv in bedroom didn’t work. Host never checked in to see if we needed anything. Wedding party in unit next door. Little stuff that added to more than the sum of its parts for the luxury price tag.

  Beautiful, comfortable villa in a quintessential Cretan mountain village

  The villa was very clean, spacious, with lots of amenities and fully equipped kitchen. It felt safe and secure, private and comfortable, without feeling isolated as it was walking less than 5-minute walk from the village's centre. We all felt at home from the first moment as, our host, Hara left us a bottle of wine and some Cretan sweets. There were also little things which made our stay easier for the first night when supermarkets were shut, like two still water bottles, coffee capsules, teabags, some spices for cooking, olive oil, salt and pepper, ice cubes in the freezer etc. We had shower gel and shampoo in both bathrooms, as well as nice soft robes for all guests. The spare blankets made our nights very cosy. It's got a lovely pergola and outside table which we used to sit and eat at everyday. We also used the barbecue on one evening which was great! Hara was very responsive and accommodating and it was very sweet of her to actually come and meet us on our second day there. We wold highly recommend this place!

  The sofa bed was a bit hard, but nothing too uncomfortable and there were many cushions and blankets to balance this out. The pool is not heated but we got used to the water temperature pretty quickly and it was very refreshing actually!

  Super villa med lækker pool

  Villaen virkede helt ny og i høj kvalitet. Pool'en og poolområdet med spiseplads, liggestole og grill. Sengene var rigtig gode (faste). Masser af skabsplads. Altid hurtig respons fra værter på henvendelser. Beliggenhed i forhold til byen med mange gode restauranter og et par gode supermarkeder.

  Perfect relaxing holiday and would highly recommend.

  Self contained luxury accommodation with its own pool. Brilliant location on the edge of Archanes, so 5 mins walk to supermarket and over 10 restaurants. Archanes is a lovely traditional Cretan village and doesn’t have too many tourists. The hosts were exceptionally generous helping make our stay perfect.
