    Dont bother!

    Cleaning and maintenance a big issue. Bathroom was dirty. Mould on shower curtain, mould on wall, mould on silicone strip. Where cleaner had mopped corners had never been done. Piles of dirt dust and hair in corner and behind toilet.

    Has potential but in need of a personal touch.

    The location of this property was ideal for my stay over - bed was comfortable and room had the usual facilities.

    Start with room was very cold and had single glazing window which was in need of a lick of paint - luckily there was radiator that soon got up to speed. Was in room 7 on top floor - not an issue but room 7 does not have its bathroom connected to the room and is on the first floor - so every time you have to take a visit to the porcelain - you have to unlock your door - walk down the stairs - unlock your bathroom with a key and then repeat in reverse for the return journey. This also meant that in the morning you had to take your clothes to the bathroom which isn't what you expect to do when you book asking for an ensuite. The lack of a receptionist or someone to explain the goings on etc. also the restaurant on site was closed up and had no one around to ask where you could get a meal - had to drive to Hullbridge and in the end had a sandwich from the Coop - morning - it was not open either so left without having any offer of breakfast.

    Great place for a short stay, very welcoming.

    Great place to stay for a night. Room was big, en-suite bathroom with a lovely hot shower, a kettle (and decent size cups), a big TV, desk and mini fridge (very useful). Modern room, bathroom slightly more dated, but everything was great for me and I was very comfortable. Everything was a good standard. Staff very polite and welcoming.

    Annoyingly got woken up at 2am with people coming in drunk, very noisy, but not the fault of Isabella Rooms, except walls thin and doors unlocked and locked with a chubb key so quite noisy. Shame the adjoining restaurant wasn't open (or at least the info pack in the room said it was only open for breakfast and lunch).
