  Location is outstanding, apartments are clean

  Good apartment and location, but seriously let down by the owners’ lack of transparency The apartment itself is very good, and the location is excellent. Unfortunately, our stay was seriously affected by construction and demolition work in the neighbouring building. According to the workers, the construction had started a week before our arrival. The owners manage several apartments in this building, right next to the building where the works were taking place, yet we were not informed about the situation before booking or arriving. During three out of our four days, the noise was extremely disruptive. Work started at around 7 a.m., with power drills, a Bobcat and other heavy construction activity making it impossible to sleep. Construction waste was also being thrown into a dedicated skip located barely a metre from the apartment door. What is particularly disappointing is the owners’ lack of transparency. Given that the works had already been underway for a week before our arrival, they were clearly aware of the situation but chose not to inform their guests. The apartment is still being advertised for upcoming stays, despite the likelihood that these works will continue for another two to three months. Future guests deserve to know what they are booking. When we complained about the noise, the owner’s response was to recommend calling 112 — the emergency number. This was an entirely inappropriate and unhelpful response to a legitimate complaint about ongoing construction noise. To be clear, there no complaints about the apartment itself or its location. Both are very good. The problem is the owners’ failure to disclose a major disruption that significantly affected our stay, and their disappointing response when we raised the issue. Moreover owners didn’t reply anything about partial refund and not going to settle the matter amicably, so I have nothing to file a claim against them via booking.com.

  Ottima location, peccato per il resto…

  Il B&B si presenta bene esteticamente e gode di una posizione eccellente. Purtroppo però il soggiorno ha lasciato a desiderare su diversi fronti.

  Avevamo prenotato per tre persone, ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato solo il letto matrimoniale preparato, senza che il terzo posto letto fosse stato allestito. Abbiamo contattato i gestori per segnalare il problema e ci hanno assicurato che avrebbero mandato qualcuno a sistemare. Al nostro rientro in tarda serata, però, non era stato fatto nulla e abbiamo dovuto preparare il letto da soli. A questo si aggiunge la presenza di numerosi insetti nella stanza, tra cui blatte e scarafaggi, che hanno inevitabilmente rovinato la serenità del soggiorno. Da segnalare anche che la porta della stanza si apre direttamente sulla strada. Peccato, perché le premesse erano buone. Speriamo che la gestione prenda in considerazione questi problemi per migliorare l'esperienza degli ospiti futuri.

  Muy mala experiencia: apartamento lleno de cucarachas.

  Mi experiencia en este apartamento fue muy mala debido a un problema grave de higiene. Durante la estancia encontramos numerosas cucarachas, tanto en la cocina como en el baño, lo que hizo que el lugar fuera muy incómodo e insalubre. A pesar de que la ubicación o el precio pudieran ser adecuados, este problema arruina completamente la experiencia. No lo recomendaría hasta que se solucione de forma profesional. Si ya saben sobre el problema no veo coherente que lo sigan alquilando, solo he estado una noche, no me imagino quién se quede durante unos días. Tampoco es que nos hayan dado mucha solución al respecto, considero que deberían de devolver el dinero o una parte de ello por la situación!
