    Had a great stay in Kyoto, highly recommended!

    Very beautiful property in the historical house in Geiko district - nicely renovated with very friendly stuff that had great food recommendations. Location is perfect! We stay at 3 different places in Kyoto and Muan was the best!

    It is a bit loud due to the old building but it is located in a quiet street so not an issue.

    Perfection, raffinement et discrétion.

    Une certaine idée de la perfection … un lieu d’une qualité irréprochable, un accueil parfait. Une suite magnifique et un bar à whisky parfait. Délicieux petit déjeuner japonais. Un très bel établissement, niché au creux d’une ruelle historique de Gion. Je viens d’y demander ma compagne en mariage , elle a dis oui … une adresse indispensable à Kyoto loin du froid habituel des grand hôtels internationaux. Un immense merci pour ce séjour

    A gem of a place with attentive and friendly staff

    The warm welcome, the little details, the collection of fine Japanese whiskies, all in a building which oozes refined calmness. It is very well situated for anyone wanting to explore the Gion district of Kyoto

    There was nothing not to like.
