A Cut Above the Rest — Beautiful Place, Delicious Food, and Exceptional Hospitality!
We had such a wonderful stay at Overlooking Samal! The entire place was truly a cut above the rest. Everything about it was beautiful, peaceful, and well worth the visit. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Samal. What made our stay even more special was the owner herself. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and hands-on, personally assisting us from the moment we booked until the very end of our stay. You can really tell how much she cares about her guests and making sure they have a wonderful experience. One thing we especially loved was the food! They have a menu where you can order breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and the owner actually prepares and cooks the meals herself. Everything we tried was delicious, and having freshly cooked, home-style meals made the experience even better. It's not every day you come across a place that offers both a beautiful setting and such genuine hospitality. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. Overlooking Samal is definitely one of the best places we've stayed at, and we'd happily come back again. Highly recommended! ❤️
There were only a couple of minor things we noticed during our stay. The kitchen cabinet had a bit of an unpleasant smell, and the emergency kit could use some attention, as we found only a single Biogesic tablet that appeared to have mold on it. These are just a few things that could be improved for future guests. Other than that, we genuinely had a wonderful experience. These didn't take away from how much we enjoyed the place, the delicious food, and the owner's exceptional hospitality. We'd still happily come back!

peaceful quite clean
i liked it because it was very clean and very peaceful and the host was there all the way even came to meet us it was just so peaceful and very nice for watching the birds
