We had a lovely few days in Ivy cottage with our daughter and grandchildren.

The house was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had fantastic weather and so it was good to have use of the garden. The owners kindly left a welcome pack which included a dram of the local whiskey. Galleries, shops, and great place for coffee and cakes within walking distance

    Superb

Very comfortable and in walking distance to several pubs and restaurants. Town is very quaint.

Only rack clothes drying, but not a big deal

    Character and comfort

Characterful cottage, well appointed, comfortable, good location. Billiard table was a bonus! Easy access around town for mum's mobility scooter. Easily adjusted heating from central thermostat.

Quite narrow steps on the stairs, but well lit with night sensors. We had trouble with the settings on the oven, but owner came promptly to help.

    Superb

When we managed to lock ourselves out (key latch on with keys inside) the host turned up in 5 minutes.
