wonderful stay for an extended family in amazing location.

Ideal stay for3 generations - parents, grandparents and little kids. Something to keep everybody busy when not relaxing. The pool is fantastic, especially for the little people. Easy drive to Kruger Park for day visits.

Unfortunately building restorations at the house next door.

The location and layout of Jacana is exceptional. We have stayed at Mjejane many times in a variety of the lodges, and the location never fails. Jacana has a magic viewing deck of the river that kept us glued for hours. In our second night we had a "visitor" elephant that was meters away from the boundary! The game drives were as expected, some with little to see and then on one, we saw the big 5 within 2 hours! Special, our ranger, was as his name suggests, absolutely SPECIAL! His knowledge of the bush, his humour and his ability to keep us engaged for 7 drives was outstanding.
