Jaiwana - Hotel at the heart of Old City Udaipur
Loved the hospitality and service. The staff welcomes you with a smile and relevant information related to your travel to Udaipur. The location is so amazing that you are at a walking distance to all of the old city tourist locations. Plus the view from the hotel rooftop was top notch. With this hotel you literally stay in an area where all the tourist keep visiting day and night, so that's a plus. Rooms and toilet were clean. The room is a bit small but for 2 person and with 2 luggage you won't feel the space problem much, but the room was cozy.
The AC. They have window AC not split one. Plus the AC hardly cools down the room much so if you are visiting in hot weather please keep this in mind and check with the hotel beforehand. The curtains. They have blinds (roller curtains) installed in rooms which are light and not totally black out. Main problem is that the room we stayed in was straight in front of 2 different rooftop cafes right across the road and with wind the curtains move creating a gap where inside of the room can be from these restaurants, not too much but still. Now I'm not sure on whether there windows are tinted to prevent this from outside but this is what I felt and the hotel needs to work on this.
