Très bon séjour ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis, la chambre était impeccable et propre, et tout était réuni pour passer un agréable moment. Le personnel était accueillant et disponible. Une très bonne expérience, nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésiter !

L’autre nous a très bien accueilli, on n’y a très bien mangé, les chambres étaient propres les salles de bain aussi bien équipée, bien équipé, clim, climatisation, ventilateur, on a même lavé nos vêtements. Parfait

This guesthouse has three main assets: 1) the location. Elephantine island is quiet and exhales good vibes, yet extremely accessible from Aswan. The ferry costs 15 EGP one way (for tourists, no haggling required) and is very reliable. Jamaica guesthouse in particular is very close to the ferry, and also very close to King Jamaica Restaurant, maybe the best restaurant we've been to in Egypt. 2) the owners. Both the owner and his sister are nice and friendly. Most importantly, they were never pushy and service did not deteriorated when we declined to book activities through them. 3) the room itself. The owner let us choose our room from the ones available, at no extra cost. All of them were spotless clean and very comfortable, with reliable AC and hot water. Obviously, do not expect luxury: you get what you pay for, but it's not a five star hotel.
The only (minor) drawback is the owner sending messages until you write a review. This is not enough to take one star off our excellent experience, but it is nonetheless unpleasant.
