Great apartment but worst check in ever
The apartment is small but perfectly organised and with a great view! The balcony is perfect for breakfast and afternoon drinks when the sun is gone. The bed is comfy and the kitchen had everything you could need, even a washing machine. When we had an issue with the bathroom, it was resolved quickly. Rental car can be parked on the free and secure parking area. And the location is walking distance to the historical city centre. So I would rate this apartment a 10!
But some minus points for communication and check in. Four days before and on the morning of arrival I contacted them on Booking.com about parking and check in but never got a reply. In the instructions it said that someone would meet us for check in but when we arrived at the agreed time there was nobody there. We called/texted them and waited for an hour but no reply. It felt like a scam and it was already late so we booked another hotel for the night. At 21.30 they called us back (something went wrong in their system) and gave us the check in information via whatsapp, incl the code for the safe box to get the key. They did refund the hotel that we had paid for but it was all a very stressful experience. So my advice: the apartment is great but if you book it, make sure they send you the check in information before you board the plane to prevent this chaos.

Best view of Funchal
The best view of Funchal! It was a pleasure to wake up with that view! The apartment is small and functional, the kitchen has everything you need to a simple meal. The decor is super nice. The bed is extremely comfortable. Everything worked nicely and the perfect relaxing staying.
Nothing, everything was great

Komfortowe, czyste, świetnie zlokalizowane mieszkanie
Świetna lokalizacja blisko centrum Funchal. Cudowny widok bez przeszkód na port z najwyższego piętra budynku. Bardzo dobrze wyposażone mieszkanie, wszystkie sprzęty kuchenne, łazienkowe, itp. Bezproblemowe zameldowanie. Najlepszy wybór w Funchal w bardzo dobrej cenie.
