    Fabulous location

    The place itself was situated on a beautiful farm. It feels like you are in the forest and it was amazing. Don't get me started with Ian.,what an amazing host. What ever we required Ian could solve it for us. Great Host. We even got some fruit to take home.

    What a beautiful oasis

    It is a beautiful, quiet area and the owner was so sweet to come give us a tour and chat a bit about the town. The house is so cute and the fireplace was divine.

    The geyser battery ran out at night but I don't believe it was the owners mistake at all. These things happens sometimes.

    Old cottage that allows you to explore Hogsback on foot

    Beautiful cottage. Host gave us some lovely fresh fruit and lend us some walking sticks. Village is amazing. Fantastic weather in the middle of winter.

    Cottage is a bit tired and need some TLC. Could not get fireplace going. Many of the lights were not working. The roads are horrendous and driving around is not an option.

    Exactly what I was looking for!

    Loved every minute of our stay! The host is amazing as well. We will be back. The indoor fire was such a great bonus too.

    Ian was a fantastic host. Very helpful and even gave us some of his fresh produce as a welcome gift. It is very close to the edge, within walking distance. The garden around the self catering houses is lovely

    The hot water was a bit of an issue, but this may have been because the weather was so cold.
