Awesome location with amazing views
We spent 4 nights here and had a wonderful stay. Communication with Cristina ahead of time was prompt and helpful - the same can be said throughout our stay. Location was perfect - it was easy to walk into town or nearby restaurants, and also easy to access one of the great hiking trails through the vineyards. We also loved being near the ocean - with views to Faial as well as the nightly sunsets. The terrace was huge and we took advantage of it a couple of times to enjoy a drink at the end of the day. One of the island's many natural pools is adjacent to the parking lot so that was really nice. The kitchen was very modern. And we liked that there was an a/c in the bedroom as well as the living room. It really was the perfect location for us for 4 nights.
We found it odd that we only received 2 tea bags and 2 coffee pods. When we asked for more we were told that they were just "welcome gifts". Every other accommodation during our 10 days in the Azores offered unlimited quantities of both. We also found the beds quite hard - not a dealbreaker - and honestly most of the places we stayed in on this particular trip had the same issue.

Situé à la pointe en face de Faial, à 5 mn du centre de Madalena, appartement parfait pour visiter l’île. Appartement spacieux, calme, avec une grande terrasse face à la mer, super bien équipé, parfait! Très grand lit, Clim si besoin et le bruit des vagues … la maison de la montagne est à 25 mn en voiture pour ceux qui veulent faire l’ascension du Pico…
Tout était parfait et un excellent rapport qualité prix
