  I physically arrived at the property on the evening of my reservation and unfortunately could not stay due to the condition of the apartment. As soon as I entered, there was a sump pump directly at the entrance that you have to step over just to get inside, and another sump pump inside the kitchen cabinet under the sink that was turning on almost every minute. The entire apartment had a very strong unpleasant smell, the bedroom smelled extremely bad, and the bathroom was not clean and in poor condition. Because of these issues, the apartment was not habitable and did not match what was presented in the listing. I contacted the host immediately, but instead of helping resolve the situation, I was told to contact Booking.com. No solution was offered. Since I could not stay there, I had to find another place to stay late at night, which caused additional unexpected expenses. I want to warn other travelers to be careful when booking here, because if there is a problem with the property, the host may not take responsibility. I am currently out $1,094 for a stay I never used because the conditions made it impossible to stay.
