    Lovely surroundings - good stop over hotel

    This hotel was a stop for us between Arugam bay and Negombo. The facilities are lovely. Great restaurant (we had dinner and breakfast) and the hotel manager was very accommodating. The swimming pool was fantastic looking towards the rice fields.

    Our room was nice but to be honest I didn't realise when I booked it that it did not have walls (only a net) and the toilet was completely outdoors. Considering this is a 5 star hotel they should make it more clear. That meant that the room did not have air conditioning which was ok during the night and luckily we left early in the morning. So overall I would stay but choose the airconditioned rooms. Also be aware that the rice fields currently do not have any rice or water in them - maybe beacuse of the season but the views are still pretty and it's a good stop over.

    So so

    Location is amazing, great concept

    The staff seem to be taking some kind of drugs, all of them seem completely under the influence especially the younger men. The older men at the hotel great, perfect, and in the restaurant good. But around doing the services it makes you feel uncomfortable. I never leave reviews but this needs to be brought to someone’s attention

    Luxury in the jungle, amongst the rice paddies.

    A very beautiful, peaceful location with a great sustainability philosophy. The fresh food created from their own organic gardens is the best we’ve tasted in Sri Lanka.
