The perfect base to explore Taipei
The property's location is great and the room felt incredibly spacious. The staff were really friendly and helped me with a query. Extremely strong shower pressure and very dark and quiet for sleeping. The midday check out time was ideal as well.

Cute hotel near the old city
A very cute and nicely designed hotel close to the old town and a 15 minute walk to Taipei main station. There is no elevator, but the receptionist helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy.
The bed was super comfortable and humongous, which was amazing. However, due to the size it took up most of the room, which meant there was almost no space to put any clothes or luggage. This made it a bit crammed.

Decent place. Don’t expect too much confort.
Great location. Very close to Dihua Street
The stairs to the 4th floor were uneven. There were stairs narrower or higher than others.

Older aesthetic hotel in a traditional neghbourhood
I reserved this hotel because of the older aesthetic which appealed to me and because it was a last minute option for me in Taiwan. The staff were very accommodating. My room was clean and the neighbourhood was in a mostly-convenient location between two MTR stations on the red and orange lines.
I knew there were no elevators, and this was not an issue for me. But if you are not able-bodied then you should not stay here as there are only stairs. The tap in my bathroom only offered cold water. The pillows were uncomfortable.
