    I have raved about Jukeiso in the past, and it was always a "must stay" in Miyajima. Not sure now.

    Loved the views from our rooms. Enjoyed the private and public onsen. Enjoyed the ambience of the tatami dining room.

    The front desk manager was extremely difficult to work with. His English comprehension was poor and his memory was terrible, even when he wrote things down. I had to tell him the same things multiple times. He seemed unaware of all the prior arrangements that I had made with Jukeiso on the booking.com messaging. It was our third stay at Jukeiso and I felt that the dinner was underwhelming, including the beef not being tender. Although the rest of our party were escorted to their rooms, we were not, and it didn't feel as gracious as in the past. Dinner beverages purchases and accommodation taxes were mixed up among the rooms, and had to be sorted out at check-out.

    Beautiful, enchanting stay - highly recommend

    Beautiful views

    The steps up to the front door could be challenging however their excellent suggestion to drop off luggage in locker at ferry was great. We gave them the locker keys and our bags were in our room when we checked in later. When leaving transportation to the ferry was provided.
