  Lovely owner but not recommended

  Near to Lake 4 and easy access by car to lake 7. The owner is delightful and also speaks excellent English. We had hot water.

  Being frank, it is really very basic and rustic - much more so than the other homestay properties we stayed in Iskanderkul and Sarytag for a similar price. You eat food outside on a platform, so it’s cold. In my opinion it is too expensive for what it is. I was disappointed given the booking.com ratings were so high. Haftkul is over-rated: the only really nice bit is the path alongside lake 7.

  It was comfortable and they lit a small fire to keep us warm at night.

  A great spot to stay while visiting the Seven Lakes.

  Lovely area

  It was a hassle to get here but glad I did. Visiting the area redeemed the hassle. Lovely location. Great warm fires (if you have a stove in your room. But even if not, another traveler was provided a heater, so she actually had heat in thr morning, too.

  I asked for assistance to get to guesthouse from Panjakent. First response was yes, hotel could help but no details. I followed up 3-4 later ( night before) and told to find driver at bazaar around noon. It’s mayhem at the bazaar, I couldn’t always understand the voice messages. Eventually, got my own shared taxi (behind the bazaar - walk down the street that runs down along bazaar and ask ). You can take a private taxi, too, for $70-80… possibly worth it to get you there at 11 rather than 3.

  La posizione è perfetta per fare trekking sia ai primi 4 laghi che dal quarto al settimo. È una struttura accogliente ed è frequentata da camminatori provenienti da diverse parti del mondo. Ottima per un breve soggiorno, 2 notti sono perfette per fare le camminate. L’host è molto disponibile a dare indicazioni e aiutare con i trasporti e parla inglese. È possibile sia chiedere di organizzare trasporti privati che semplicemente andare al bazar di Panjakent e trovare un passaggio sul momento.

  La struttura ha una doccia che non funziona perché non scende l’acqua. Abbiamo soggiornato a inizio ottobre e la notte faceva veramente molto freddo. L’host ci ha fornito doppie coperte grazie alle quali siamo riusciti a dormire ma è meglio non fare affidamento sul riscaldamento. I prezzi della struttura confrontati con altri dell’area sono piuttosto alti; anche la cena è molto cara per l’offerta (8 dollari) ma non ci sono altre opzioni.
