  Great location and facilities

  Friendly staff, always ready to help. They even helped me with my bulky luggage. Location is great, close to multiple places of interest, and the place is very quiet despite being in the center of Ubud. Nice breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant overlooks jungle and pool. I got a breakfast box the one morning I left before the kitchen opened. Wifi is fast enough too. They offer pre-planned excursions but also the possibility to design your own excursion with a driver. I did not have any issues with insects in my room (despite it being ground floor), which are described by many previous guests. I also appreciated that staff asked me if the bathroom was clean enough (it was!) when they took me to my room

  The only thing I did not appreciate is that the driver I got for my excursion was terribly sick. Not necessarily something that is under the control of the resort, but since I booked through reception, I thought it would be wise to mention it. The other thing is that you may clearly hear the people above you walk left and right, so depending on who is accommodated above you, it may be an issue or not (it was not for me). If you are a light sleeper, ask to be placed in a room on the first floor

  Kleines ruhiges Dschungel-Paradies in mitten der Stadt

  Trotz der sehr zentralen Lage an einer sehr belebten Straße, ist das Hotel sehr ruhig und wirklich wie in einem Dschungel im Grünen gelegen. Das morgendliche Schwimmen im Pool war fantastisch und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück konnte man sich aus einer Auswahl an kontinentalen und indonesischen Frühstück zusammenzustellen und war sehr lecker und frech zubereitet. Das Restaurant war zudem den den ganzen Tag geöffnet. Zu Yoga Barn sind es knapp 15 Minuten zu Fuß und um liegend gibt es einige kleinere Läden, Warungs und Restaurants als auch viele Kosmetikläden. Mein Zimmer war sozusagen auf der ersten Ebene, wo sich auch die Rezeption befindet, und ich hatte einen Blick Richtung grün und Richtung Pool, der mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dorthin kommen und habe mich sehr wohl dort gefühlt!

  Im Prinzip war alles prima. Die Portionen beim Frühstück hätten für mich persönlich vielleicht etwas größer sein können.

  Staff is absolutely superb. This is my second time at this location for that specific reason. Beautiful spot, it feels like you’re in a jungle, but with alll the perks.

  Our room was the way down the stairs and it’s a pretty good hike. Other than that, it’s all good.
