    Peaceful mountain cabin getaway in the Bay Area

    The guest cabin is separated from the main house, which offers excellent privacy and great soundproofing. The room itself is very big, featuring a spacious kitchen with a fridge, a clean and comfortable bed, and a large bathroom layout. Since it is located on the ground floor, you don't have to worry about needing an elevator or lift. Outside, the outdoor patio offers a wonderfully quiet and beautiful view. The host was incredibly friendly, and even though cell service reception can be poor at the top of the hills, the provided Wi-Fi was fast and worked flawlessly.

    The shower water was really cold during our stay. Additionally, reaching the property requires a car and some careful driving; the narrow, windy roads up the Los Gatos hill can be quite intimidating if you are not used to mountain driving.

    It was a gem of a find on Booking.

    Located on a hillside overlooking Silicon Valley. It was surprising to find it was located high atop a winding road, but the rewards were amazing.
