    We stayed two nights as a group of four and overall enjoyed our stay. The Castello location is quiet and an easy walk to San Zaccaria and San Marco, and the host was wonderful — friendly, helpful, and full of detailed tips on what to see and which vaporetto to take.

    A few small things could be improved: some of the bed linens are dark-colored, so it's hard to tell if they're freshly cleaned; the shower drains slowly and has no door, so the floor gets wet despite the two bath mats provided; and the two single beds in the second bedroom felt quite basic. None of this spoiled our stay — we'd still recommend it for the location and the kind host.

    Una excepción merecida: atención de 10

    No suelo escribir reseñas. Normalmente, si todo está bien, no veo necesidad de destacar nada, y solo lo haría si algo saliera mal. Pero esta vez quiero hacer una excepción, y en positivo, porque la estancia ha sido realmente excepcional. Lo que más queremos destacar es la atención del propietario, que fue sencillamente inmejorable. Durante todos los días estuvo pendiente de nosotros: se aseguró de que llegáramos bien con indicaciones claras, se ofreció a resolver cualquier duda sobre la ciudad y nos dio recomendaciones de sitios para comer y lugares que ver fuera de los circuitos más turísticos. Gracias a él descubrimos rincones que de otra forma nos habríamos perdido. Fue maravilloso. La casa está fenomenal y muy limpia, en una zona céntrica y agradable, a solo 5 minutos de la plaza de San Marcos. La cocina está totalmente equipada, incluso con aceite y otros básicos, algo que se agradece muchísimo. Además, nos esperaba con unas galletas y bebidas de bienvenida, un detalle que dice mucho del cariño con el que cuida a sus huéspedes. Sin duda, un 10. Volveríamos sin pensarlo y lo recomendamos de corazón.
