    Exceptional staff who truly care about guest safety

    The property has excellent staff who strictly prioritise and protect their guests. I am very grateful for how the team handled the severe misbehavior of another guest. When I reported the issue to the front desk, they acted immediately to evict the individual. Afterward, they came to my room to personally reassure me that the problem was solved and that I was safe. To be honest, their quick action and care made me feel really warm and secure. It is wonderful to know you are truly looked after here.

    Quaint, affordable, close to the city and free hot drinks

    The staff were great from the get go. We arrived around 11am to drop our bags off and because our room was ready we could check in straight away which was great. The private rooms were so cozy and it was nice to have an option of different beds to pick from. Free unlimited hot drinks (and crossaints going spare in the am) in the reception. Breakfast was really good value (especially as it was free for genius). Valued at £6.95 we got a takeaway bag with multiple crossaints, fruit, yogurt, juice and porridge. TV in room was a nice touch as was hairdryer. Multiple plugs by the side of each bed and light that doesn't disturbe those in the room.

    Cleanliness could have been better. There was a hair ball in the drain of our sink and I don't think the bathroom bin had been emptied. The bathroom is rather small and with only a shower curtain protecting the floor sink and toilet from a fast water spray, it's very hard to avoid wet clothes and towels. The TV kept cutting out stating wi-fi problems. It eventually came back on but sometimes you had to fiddle between channels to make this happen. Bit of a nit pick but the light switches for the bathroom and main room light are next to each other and it was really easy to mix the two up, we frequently turned the main light on/off when intending to hit the bathroom one. Some small labels might be useful here.
