  Gobsmacked

  The owner was very hospitable and kind.

  I'm not a young back packer so it was a shock for me to find the amenities it's advertised as having weren't there ie, front desk, ATM and mini mart on site etc. I had walk out to the main road to find these things. The reality is that it's situated down a lane off the main road where there isn't anything but wooden shacks and a covered area where there are sewing machines and clothes. My bungalow was far too rustic for me with so many gaps that all sorts of bugs were coming in at night. I only found a couple of cafés nearby on the main road to get food as the location is very remote in comparison to where I moved to afterwards. It's probably fine for a young backpacker for a few nights but I personally would not have booked and paid to stay for 3 weeks if I had known what it was really like. The advertisement is not a true reflection of what it is. I can only assume the high ratings on here are due to the kindness and hospitable nature of the owner but that alone was not enough for me to feel comfortable so I left after nearly a week and as a result lost my money that I had paid in full on arrival. I do hope both Booking.com and the owner review the ad to prevent other people being placed in the same position as me in the future.

  Ottima opzione alternativa per vedere Siem Reap

  Ottimo posto per sfuggire dal caotico centro città. L’host è a disposizione per portarti ovunque tu voglia e consigliarti cosa e dove andare. Meta è molto amichevole e le sue figli adorabili, una bella famiglia.

  Unica appunto è la zanzariera che aveva qualche buchetto, ma per il resto veramente tutto ottimo. Grazie ancora Meta

  Meta was an exceptional host and one of the kindest people I met during my trip. He was always helpful, welcoming, and happy to assist with anything I needed. The homestay is surrounded by beautiful nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere away from the busy city. The room was comfortable, clean, and felt very authentic. I travel frequently, and this was one of the most memorable places I’ve stayed in Siem Reap. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and experience genuine Cambodian hospitality, this is the perfect choice.

  Honestly, there was very little to complain about. The natural setting means you may occasionally encounter insects, which is completely normal when staying in such a beautiful tropical environment. Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations.
