  Nous avons surtout aimé le bar de proximité : le bison futé ! Sinon, établissement très propre, bien situé. Petit, mais il ne manque rien. L'espace commun est bien équipé: possibilité de se faire du thé, du café ou de se faire réchauffer un plat au micro-ondes. Nous avons testé la machine à laver et le sèche linge, qui étaient parfaitement fonctionnel. Établissement que nous recommandons sans hésitation.

  Le bruit peut être gênant (cloisons et travaux dans le quartier), mais l'hôte avait pensé aux boules quies! Merci :)

  The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious, and the bathroom was super clean. They also have fresh coffee beans available from a local coffee store for guests to make coffee.

  -The mattress was a bit too spongey for my preference so it kind of felt like I was sinking into it when I slept. -A little farther than I expected from the station (I used the subway every day and although on Google Maps it says it takes around 12 mins from the hotel to Kyoto station, it took me more like 18-20 mins to get to the actual subway entrance) But otherwise it was a pretty pleasant stay!

  Clean apartment

  The property has a good location. About 15min walk from Kyoto station. It has a central shared kitchen and the rooms are opening from there. It is very clean, the owner is nice, helpful, and replying rash. You have bath, toilet and fridge in the room and everything you need is provided. Also washing mashine (free) and dryer (100Yen), AC and air cleaner. If you have nice neighbors you can enjoy your stay quite much.

  The walls are incredibly thin. You hear everything the neighbors are doing, even if they talk, or just grab something. If you have someone lauder you will not enjoy your stay. Because even if you wear ear plugs, if they get up at 4am you will also wake up at 4am. I have never slept so badly in any places before. And if they eat something stinky, you will also enjoy it. It is of course not the failure of the property but it is clear that there are cultural differences. So it could have been planed better at least with a bit more sound isolation and not putting the toilet next to your neighbors that they also hear everything. It was really uncomfortable for me.

  Everything was spotless

  We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel was in excellent condition, very clean, well-organized, and everything was absolutely spotless. We really appreciated that the staff kindly let us leave our luggage before check-in, which was extremely helpful. The staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. We were even given a little gift, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. If we ever return to Kyoto, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
